THE Feline Control Council of Victoria is holding a special Christmas All Breeds Cat Show in Berwick this month.

Riding of the Bounds
THE Riding of the Bounds is part of a 500-year which involves local residents riding on horseback around Berwick-upon-Tweed, UK, in a traditional ceremony to protect its borders. This year’s Riding of the Bounds in Casey is a 25-year celebration of the historic event.
-Sunday 26 October at Hillcrest Christian College in Clyde North. Tickets are $27 for individuals, $43 for families (up to four people) and $86 for groups (up to 10 people).
Endeavour Hills Neighbourhood House
THE Endeavour Hills Neighbourhood House is holding classes in meditation, jewellery making (both kids and adult classes), beginners’ computer, Zentangle art and Make Your Own Dreamcatcher.

THE Hallam Community Learning Centre is holding computer courses for the community. People can participate in courses for beginners and seniors, studying Windows 7 and 8, Word, internet and email. Subsidised iPad and comprehensive computer administration courses are also available.

Dandenong Show
THE show is in its 143rd year and will feature carnival rides, animal competitions, a fireworks display and more. There’ll be a truck pull event and motor bike stunt shows, classic car displays and roving entertainment.

Silvie in Spirit
THE Spirit of Christmas with Silvie Paladino is coming to Dandenong.
She’ll sing hits from musical theatre and favourite Christmas songs, accompanied by David Cameron on piano.

Art from the Heart
A NEW exhibition is featuring artists from the Victorian Multi Ethnic Slavic Welfare Association.
Art from the Heart illustrates different emotional, visual and personal depictions from each artist.

World Cup Cricket Count Down
CRICKET Victoria and Cricket World Cup will have a cricket ’tunnel’ – an enclosed cricket playing field – along with the World Cup countdown clock at Palm Plaza.

Historic Sandown
THE Victorian Historic Racing Register organises this annual meeting and will pay tribute to its late patron Sir Jack Brabham.
The best sports, racing and touring cars from yesteryear will be in action, alongside Australian motor racing personalities.

Dandenong Community Cemetery Tours
FRIENDS of Dandenong Cemeteries leads tours through the Dandenong Community Cemetery to discover the final resting places of many Dandenong pioneers and tells the anecdotes and stories about the locally important, unusual or infamous. Each tour is unique and runs for 90 minutes.

Game On
THE Game On Basketball Program is for 12 to 25-year-olds who enjoy basketball and breakdancing.
Participants can join in the casual basketball games with their own team or join another team and there’s a large stage for breakdancing rehearsal.
