Tablet gets designer digital

An Endeavour Hills student is starting high school with a creative edge.
Mohamed Haggag won a creative pen and touch tablet valued at $270 through a Greater Dandenong Libraries character design competition.
The competition helped the 12-year-old to realise his talent for drawing and he hopes the tablet will help him to develop his budding creative skills.
Chisholm Institute provided the tablet for the council’s art series, which fosters the talents of local young people.
Chisholm’s bachelor of graphic and games design degree course leader Nicholas Lee said Mohamed had a good sense of colour and character and showed promise as a designer.
“The tablet is a great tool to help Mohamed develop his skills digitally,” he said.
