Teen charged over gun home invasion

A 19-year-old Eumemmerring man is among three people charged over an alleged aggravated burglary involving a gunshot in Leopold.
Armed Crime Squad Detectives said the incident occurred at a residential property on the Bellarine Highway shortly before 2am on Thursday 2 November.
They charged three men with aggravated home invasion, assault with a firearm, reckless conduct endangering life, being a prohibited person in use of a firearm, intentionally causing injury and motor vehicle theft.
The Eumemmerring man and an 18-year-old man of no fixed address were due to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday 3 November.
A 17-year-old Hampton East boy is expected to face a Children’s Court.
Police interviewed and released a fourth man pending further inquiries.
