Fight stabbing

A DAYLIGHT stabbing landed a Dandenong man in hospital with serious chest wounds.
Greater Dandenong CIU Sergeant Glen Cruse said the 30-year-old argued with another man in Cadd Lane, Dandenong, about 2pm on 26 February.
He said the dispute allegedly turned physical and the victim suffered multiple stab wounds to his chest.
An ambulance transported him to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition where he underwent surgery.
Sgt Cruse said the men knew each other.
Police arrested a 46-year-old Noble Park man over the incident and charged him with intentionally causing serious injury.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 May.
