Travel card threat

A THIEF armed with a screwdriver made off with nothing but a Myki card after threatening an Endeavour Hills man.
The 50-year-old victim was walking along Langhorne Street, Dandenong, about 3am on 28 February when a man approached.
Greater Dandenong CIU Detective Sergeant Glen Cruse said he brandished the screwdriver and demanded the victim’s wallet.
The victim instead handed over his Myki card and the thief left the scene.
Police arrested a 25-year-old Wyndham Vale man over the incident and released him pending further inquiries.
