FOUNTAIN Gate Shopping Centre celebrated a special birthday this month.
The popular shopping precinct turned 35 on 11 March and centre management recognised the occasion with a pop-up gallery, displaying images and facts from throughout the facility’s more than three decades of history.
The pop-up gallery was accompanied by free 15 minute history sessions by local historian Heather Arnold.
And the shopping centre still continues to provide for the community, evidenced as recently as a few week ago when Fountain Gate held its Fashion Saturday event, where the latest styles were showcased to shoppers.
