Ugly duckling lesion on the upper arm – this was an early melanoma.

Beware the ‘ugly duckling lesion’.
If a pigmented lesion on your skin looks different to all the others and just doesn’t seem to fit in this is called an ‘ugly duckling’.
It might be a melanoma. Better get it checked.
