Stop at the cycle shop

IVANHOE Cycles specialises in offering friendly service and a large array of bicycles to suit all needs.
Manager Michael Ripley said Ivanhoe Cycles was a one-stop-shop for all cycle needs offering servicing for bikes as well as school discounts and sponsorship and accessories.
“We have a wide range of bicycle accessories,” he said.
“We order stock once a week or on the day for special requests.”
He said his shop stocks a lot of brands including Giant, Wilier, Cube, Castelli, Limar, Kask, Netti and variety of others.
Michael said staff are proud of their professionalism and their attention to detail and run a friendly and efficient workshop.
“We endeavour to always improve our service,” he said.
“Like any business we try to improve our service and range to suit our customer’s needs. Our shop is clean, open and orderly.

“We fit racks, computers and other accessories bought from us free. We also have facilities to fit car racks and roof mount bike racks.”
“Between us we have 33 years’ experience as staff and Ivanhoe Cycles has been around since 1983.”
The sales staff is Manish, Mark, Naomi, Rien, Emily and Anika are the sales team.
Manish has a vast knowledge of dual suspension for mountain to road bikes while Mark also has a lot of experience touring across many continents and has managed and worked in many facets of bicycle shops.
Naomi, Emily and Anika are all cyclists and bring the female touch to the shop.
They are all cyclists with Emily racing for Seight, Naomi riding for MTB and Anika, a BMX cyclist.
Jamie, David, Tony, Oscar, Ashwin and Jordon are the work shop team.
Jamie and David ride mountain, road and BMX while Tony has many years’ experience running his own shops as well as being a talented downhill racer, Oscar, Jordon and Ashwin predominantly ride BMX but, like all the staff, just love all bikes.
These are people who love what they do and use what they sell.
Ivanhoe Cycles are at 21/2-10 Hallam South Road and has ample parking.
It is open from 9am to 6pm weekdays, 9am to 5pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sunday.
