A MAN has died in hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Hallam over the weekend.
A cement truck crashed end-to-end with two cars at the on-ramp of the South Gippsland Freeway, off the Princes Highway, about 7.30am on Saturday 12 September.
The male driver of the middle car, a Ford station wagon, was rushed to hospital where he died a short time later.
The female driver of the first car, a Toyota Camry, was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The male driver of the cement truck was uninjured and assisted police with their inquiries.
