Bikie taskforce detectives are appealing for public help to solve a Hallam drive-by shooting.
Echo Taskforce police believe the incident on Saturday 24 January last year has outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) links.
They’ve been told that those responsible attended a Belgrave-Hallam Road home about 4am and fired a number of shots into a bedroom window.
A 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were sleeping inside, but were not injured.
Half an hour later, a stolen 2008 black Porsche Cayenne with registration THOMMI was found burnt out in Pound Street, Clyde.
Investigators believe the stolen Porsche is linked to the shooting and have established that a semi-automatic firearm was used during the targeted attack.
Detectives urged anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
