Buffing up the beauties

By Casey Neill

An Endeavour Hills beauty buff will head backstage at the Melbourne Fashion Festival.
Priceline Pharmacy beauty advisor Jessie O’Sullivan was selected for the Pharmacy Beauty Team role alongside 19 of her peers from a pool of 650 across the country.
The festival will run from 1 to 19 March in the Melbourne CBD and Priceline is providing all hair and beauty products for the event.
The 23-year-old said her roles would range from greeting customers to taking bookings for a pop-up beauty lounge, completing makeovers and providing beauty tips and tricks for festival-goers, and helping hair stylists backstage with models.
“It’s exciting,” she said.
“I don’t know exactly who’s going to be there but it’s always exciting to meet some of the beauty bloggers.”
She’s heard that Chloe Morello could be among the social media make-up tutorial stars make an appearance.
Jessie applied for the position after identifying it as “a great opportunity to learn”.
“I’ve been working at Priceline since I was 15,” she said.
She started out as a casual at the Endeavour Hills store, worked her way up to a supervisor role and is now a full-time beauty advisor at the Knox store.
“I’ve just been taking it as it comes,” she said.
“I’d be happy to stay in Priceline for as long as possible and they’re forever growing.
“I’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”
