Chinese look to the moon

The Chinese community of Endeavour Hills was treated to folk dance performances, quizzes and craft classes for the little ones at Endeavour Hills Library to celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival.
The activities on 28 September were to coincide with the traditional Chinese holiday dedicated to the moon.
The Moon Festival, also known as Mid-Autumn Festival, falls on the 15th day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar – and the night of the full moon.
The library also offered its first-ever book sale for Chinese language items.
