Shop worker’s jaw broken in Xbox raid

A DICK SMITH staff member’s nose was broken and their jaw fractured when they tried to stop a thief stealing an Xbox controller.
Staff gave chase as the thief fled the Dandenong store and one was punched in the face during the 7 October incident.
The thief is described as Maori in appearance and aged 25 to 30 with a large build and with a distinctive stride where he kicks his lower legs out as he walks.
Anyone with information should phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Constable Sally Spalding at Greater Dandenong CIU.
