Alert after suspicious spot fire

POLICE are still appealing for witnesses to a suspicious grass fire that blazed through Endeavour Hills more than a week ago.
Emergency services were called to Police Paddocks Reserve about 10.30pm on Friday 2 January where a fire burnt about two hectares of grassland before it was contained within a few hours.
No one was injured in the fire.
Police visited homes in the neighbourhood following the incident to urge residents to look out for spot fires.
The cause of the blaze is still being investigated by the Casey Crime Investigation Unit.
