Rats! We don’t have enough kids

MOTHER’S group Rug Ratz is looking for more rugrats to ensure its future.
The non-profit playgroup will run at Springers Leisure Centre in Keysborough every Thursday from February and has been around for eight years.
Mum Eva said Rug Ratz had restructured in the past two years and lost several families as their children have moved up to kinder and school.
There are now not enough families to run it, with just seven signed up by Christmas.
Eva said Rug Ratz provided an opportunity for kids to play together and learn social skills in a safe and structured environment, and for mums to find support.
A yearly $35 playgroup fee and a $35 fee per family per term covers rent and supplies.
Call group leader Danielle on 0422 521 279 or enrolment officer Nina on 0417 022 187 to sign up or for more information.
