POLICE patrolling a hot zone in Eumemmerring discovered a car with around two kilograms of marijuana on Thursday 29 January.
The area had been deemed a hot zone due to high rates of crimes and task members had been deployed to inspect it.
The police officers located a car along Gumbuya Close with three men and upon inspection found a large quantity of drugs.
One of the males became violent towards police and was restrained. The 31-year-old man was remanded in custody.
Police allege he also had a knife and that the man was ice affected.
