POLICE were called to a stretch of the Monash Freeway in Doveton on Wednesday morning after a car went up in flames.
Fire trucks from the Dandenong and Hallam CFA brigades were also called to the scene where the car had caught on fire in the inbound lane about 10.30am.
It’s understood the blaze was brought under control by authorities within 10 minutes.
No ambulance was called to the scene, and it’s believed no one was injured in the fire.
