St Valentine’s Day home attack

TWO men allegedly armed with a machete and a gun stormed an Endeavour Hills house in the early hours of Valentine’s Day, leaving a victim with blood pouring from his head.
The occupant received serious but non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Dandenong Hospital after the attack at the Dampier Court property around 5am on Saturday 14 February.
The attackers are still on the run after fleeing with a mobile phone taken from the property.
It’s understood the two attackers entered the house after a woman who allegedly knew the victim also arrived at the property.
Two more occupants of the house are believed to have woken to the victim scuffling with one of the raiders in the lounge room, where he was injured.
A police spokesperson said the attack appeared to be an isolated incident.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
