Teens charged after ram raids

POLICE have charged a second teen over a series of ram raids on milk bars in Dandenong and the surrounding area last month.
They executed a search warrant and arrested a 17-year-old Dandenong boy last Tuesday 3 March.
He has been charged with five counts of burglary, five counts of criminal damage, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and three counts of theft.
He faced Dandenong Magistrates’ Court that afternoon and was bailed to reappear on 17 April.
An 18-year-old Eumemmerring man will return to court on 18 March to answer 14 charges over the crime spree.
Police allege they used a stolen car to smash into five small businesses in two hours on 5 February, in Noble Park North, Keysborough, Dandenong, Doveton and Hallam.
They allege the teens stole cash registers and cash and dumped the car involved at a park in Frawley Road, Eumemmerring.
