Art Space is open
ONE of Casey’s new art spaces is getting set to host two exhibitions in one space as part of a new and exciting council venture. The Civic Centre Art Space will host the artworks and Mayor Mick Morland encourages the community to come along and experience some local talents.

Secret of success
THE secrets of business success will be revealed by local leaders at an intimate forum at the Cardinia Cultural Centre. This is a not for profit event, with all surplus funds going to the 4Cs Crisis Relief Centres.

Choir needs singers
THE Casey U3A Singers is in need of more singers, particularly male tenor voices.

Green thumbs are urged to head along to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne to find out about an exciting new partnership.
Dr Noushka Reiter will speak on the botanic garden’s new partnership with the Australian Network for Plant Conservation and the establishment of the Orchid Conservation Centre for rare and threatened orchids.
Donations by individuals and community groups have enabled the purchase of equipment for the Orchid Conservation Centre at RBG Cranbourne.
Following this event, on 18 April, there will be an all-day workshop at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Cranbourne, on the iconic eucalypt.

It Starts with Us
THIS program explores issues associated with discrimination and inequality by using theatre to bring together agencies, schools and organisations.
Participants aged 12 to 25 will meet weekly with Phi and Me star Diana Nguyen to develop a theatre performance to be delivered at a community event during National Youth Week.

Nourish the soul

Oil painting
JACQUI Stockdale’s oil painting class will teach composition, form, perspective, colour-mixing and paint application.
