THE police Dog Squad was called in to track a man who fled through Akoonah Park after evading a booze bus last month.
The police chase started after a black Holden with false plates deliberately drove past the police booze bus along Soldiers Road in Beaconsfield and sped off just after 6pm on Saturday 28 March.
Police drove after the car as it headed along Princes Highway in Berwick before the male driver dumped the Holden and fled into nearby Akoonah Park.
The reserve was cordoned off while police dogs searched but failed to find the man.
