NEIGHBOURHOOD Watch Casey will consider creating a sub-branch in Doveton at a meeting this week.
The meeting, scheduled for Wednesday 15 April, will allow residents the opportunity to discuss the benefits of organising a new Neighbourhood Watch branch to ramp up crime prevention in Doveton.
It comes after the last three years in which Neighbourhood Watch Casey has worked closely with Endeavour Hills police in monitoring crime specifically around the Autumn Place shopping centre.
The Neighbourhood Watch group was presented with a certificate in 2013 by the City of Casey in recognition of its effort in curbing graffiti and crime at this specific area of Doveton.
The upcoming meeting will be held on 15 April at 11am, at the Green Tea Cafe, 1/18 Hawthorn Road, Doveton.
