Jobs on the school curriculum

A NEW employment-focused school has opened its doors in Dandenong.
Private vocational educator Evocca College will offer business, community services, counselling and events courses from the new Walker Street campus, its 40th in Australia and 10th in Victoria since its inception in 2011.
Evocca College Dandenong branch manager Chad Candappa said the college suited students who didn’t like rigid, large format study environments.
“The one-on-one support and flexibility we provide ensures our students can complete their studies while working or raising a family,” he said.
Mr Candappa said the school could support students to pursue further study at university or to gain employment.
“We’re also lucky to have a fantastic facility with enough space to conduct workshops, one-on-one tutoring and role play scenarios,” he said.
Evocca College has Federal Government approval to offer VET Fee-Help loans to students and was named 2013 VET Provider of the Year at the Australian Council for Private Education and Training Awards for Excellence.
Evocca College Dandenong is now open and accepting enrolments.
