DETECTIVES are investigating whether a stolen car was dumped and then set alight in the early hours of the morning near the Dandenong Creek trail.
The fire, on Oppenheim Road in Dandenong South, is being treated as suspicious after it was reported to police around 2.30am on Thursday 14 May.
The burnt-out car was a 2002 black Audi sedan and is believed to have been stolen from Oswald Street in Dandenong earlier on the same day.
