A WOMAN has been robbed and forced to the ground while she was walking through Dandenong in the middle of the day.
The 24-year-old was walking along Cheltenham Road about 10.30am on Thursday 14 May when she was approached by four women, all Islander in appearance.
The women asked the victim for the time and then tried to take her handbag, before pushing her to the ground and fleeing with bank cards and $470 in cash.
Police have urged any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
