Police in home stand-off

A MAN has been remanded in custody after a stand-off with police at a Doveton property that lasted more than four hours.
Police first attended the Jodie Close home around 7.30am on Tuesday 19 May where a man was wanted in relation to a family violence matter.
The police Critical Incident Response Team was called in to cordon off the area and detain the man, who surrendered just after noon.
