Rapid service with a smile

STAFF at Rapid Tune Hallam have a passion for cars, customer service and attention to detail according to owner/manager Cameron Jay.
“We have a state-of-the-art workshop offering log book servicing, all mechanical repairs including suspension, brakes, clutches, fuel injection services, auto transmission services, air conditioning services and road worthy certificates,” he said.
“What makes us different is our awesome customer service from a team of guys that are passionate about cars.“
Rapid Tune offers a handy location, free courtesy car, drop off and pick up in the local area and a bright new waiting area and a workshop boasting state-of-the art equipment.
“Customers are our priority, cars are our passion,” Mr Jay said.
“We want to help our customers maintain the safety, reliability, general condition and value of their cars.
“We have a new, clean and bright facility with an area for customers to wait if they need. We particularly want women to feel comfortable and welcome in our workshop.”
The business has been running for six months in Hallam but the Rapid Tune Franchise Group started in 2002 with one store in Ferntree Gully and has gone from strength-to-strength and now operates 10 stores across Melbourne.
Mr Jay grew up in the transport industry and entered the motor trade in 1986. He has successfully competed in various motorsport events ranging from super karts to sprint cars to forest rallying and road racing.
His staff includes junior apprentice Jayden who eats, sleeps and breathes cars and senior mechanic Ross who loves diagnosing problems with customers’ cars and has a passion for performance vehicles.
At the moment Rapid Tune is offering a $99 minor service and a free car wash.
Rapid Tune Hallam is at 23/2-10 Hallam South Road (facing Princes Highway), Hallam. It is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm. Phone 97963383.
