A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been bailed after police rushed to a bomb scare in Doveton on Thursday morning.
Detectives were called to the Ti Tree Drive property just after 10.30am where they conducted a safety search on a car but by 1.30pm they had deemed the situation safe.
A Doveton man was arrested during the three-hour incident and was charged with handling stolen goods in relation to another matter.
He was released on bail to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court in August.
