A GUN found in a motel led police to arrest a man and a woman who were discovered in a car at the scene.
Detectives were called in after a member of staff found the weapon in a room at the Casey on Princes Motel on Dandenong Road just after 1pm on Wednesday 10 June.
A man in his thirties and a woman in her twenties were in the car when police found them.
They also uncovered methamphetamine and cash in the vehicle.
The pair were arrested and will front court at a later date.
