Doveton stories take pride of place

WHAT does Doveton mean to you?
Dandenong MP Gabrielle Williams is inviting residents to share exactly that.
She’ll host the We Are Doveton forum from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 23 September.
Ms Williams said she wanted to hear about people’s experience of life in Doveton, their concerns, aspirations and points of pride.
“In recent weeks there has been a lot of commentary on Doveton, and it’s important that the residents of Doveton are part of this discussion, not just the subject of it,” she said.
“Doveton is a proud and vibrant community and I’ve got no interest in talking it down.
“But, as a newly-elected Member of Parliament, I do want to engage the people of Doveton on the issues that matter most to them.”
Ms Williams will host the forum at Doveton Football Club, at the corner of Oak Avenue and Paperbark Street, Doveton.
For catering purposes, RSVP by Friday 18 September to 9793 2000 or gabrielle.williams@parliament.vic.gov.au
