THE NBN will be rolled out over most of Casey by the end of 2017.
NBN Co recently released its three-year construction plan, with lots of Casey suburbs on the list.
One of the first areas scheduled for the NBN is Endeavour Hills, which has been put down to receive the rollout in the first half of 2016.
Cranbourne North, Narre Warren, and Narre Warren South are listed for the second half of 2016.
Berwick, Blind Bight, Cannons Creek, Tooradin and Warneet are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016.
Meanwhile a number of suburbs are on the list to be hooked up in 2017, including Hampton Park, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst, Botanic Ridge, Clyde, Cranbourne, Cranbourne East, Cranbourne West, Devon Meadows, and Pearcedale.
Doveton, Eumemmerring, Hallam, Lysterfield South, and Narre Warren North are scheduled for the second half of 2017.
In March, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull visited Casey in his capacity as Federal Communications Minister to announce that Narre Warren South had been added to the rollout list.
Mr Turnbull came to the Casey Central Shopping Centre to confirm the long-awaited development which will see work on Narre Warren South’s NBN begin in the second half of 2016.
It was then he also met Steve Barnes, a Narre Warren South resident and passionate NBN campaigner.
Mr Barnes, an IT worker, operates from home and has been advocating for a better internet service in his suburb for 12 years.
