Multi-faith season’s greetings

THE Casey Multi-Faith Network has sent out their season’s greetings.
In a statement released on Monday the network wished the Casey community a “very Merry Christmas”.
“For Christians celebrating the birth of Christ we celebrate with you. For Jews celebrating Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, we wish them a Happy Hanukkah,” the statement read.
“Many members of the Multi-Faith Network may not observe these religious festivals, but we all join in the cultural celebrations and rejoice in the family time and partake in the giving spirit at this time of the year.
“The kindness to fellow human beings and generosity to all, encouraged during this period, is common to many faiths.”
