Firms urged to pitch in

THE City of Casey is looking for local firms to get involved with its $125 million Bunjil Place development.
The new arts, cultural, community and civic development in Narre Warren is one of the largest projects to be undertaken by local government in Australia.
When finished Bunjil Place will boast an 800 seat regional theatre, studio, regional art gallery, library and meeting rooms, Civic Centre and council offices and community plaza.
The City of Casey and construction contractor Brookfield Multiplex is hosting an information session for local suppliers and manufacturers to learn about the project on Monday 22 February.
Businesses which provide or sell anything that could be used in the delivery of Bunjil Place, such as safety gear or plumbing suppliers, catering or waste services, equipment hire are encouraged to attend the session.
The information session will be held at the Council Chambers, City of Casey Civic Centre, Magid Drive, Narre Warren, from 10am until noon.
