THE sportswomen of Endeavour Hills are set to benefit from a $100,000 grant awarded by the State Government this month.
On Monday 21 March Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan announced the $100,000 Community Sports Infrastructure Fund grant to go towards a ‘female friendly’ upgrade of the Singleton Reserve.
This will see Singleton Reserve pavilion upgraded to include female-friendly amenities, accommodating the growing number of local female footy players, visitors and members.
Narre Warren North MP Luke Donnellan was joined by Casey councillors Rafal Kaplon and Rosalie Crestani at Singleton Reserve to confirm the grant this week.
“We promised the Casey community the great sporting facilities it deserves, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering,” Mr Donnellan said.
“They love their sport in Casey, and this fabulous project will mean participants of all abilities will be able to strut their stuff at a facility they can be proud of.”
