Casey’s the place for the young and bold

By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

APRIL is the month for Casey’s youth.
During National Youth Week, which runs from 8 to 17 April, young people from the area will have the opportunity to attend a number of events and discussion groups.
“Celebrations will be held across the country, including Casey, to recognise the value of all young people in our local community and beyond,” Casey mayor Sam Aziz said.
“Whether it be through volunteering, sport, art, music, education or community service, young people make valuable contributions to the Casey community and help make it a wonderful place to live.
“This year, young people across Casey have the opportunity to attend the popular Rock ’n’ Skate Festival and provide feedback to help shape the next Youth Strategy.”
