POLICE allege they caught an Endeavour Hills driver travelling at almost twice the 50km/h speed limit in Doveton.
Casey Highway Patrol members intercepted a car allegedly travelling at 93km/h about 5.15am on Saturday 16 April.
They pulled over the 25-year-old driver on Cootamundra Street and he provided a positive preliminary breath test.
Officers took him to a police station where he returned an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.097.
A preliminary oral fluid test also returned a positive result for methylamphetamine, or ice.
The driver had a cancelled licence and four passengers in the car.
He will be charged on summons for drink and drug driving offences.
