Hunt on for pair over taxi assault

A TAXI driver was assaulted en route to Doveton by two males.
The male driver sustained minor injuries but was forced to stop the car and flee the situation on foot.
The two offenders stole the taxi’s contents and left the scene on Tristania Street, in Doveton, about 10.20pm on Sunday 1 May.
The taxi driver had picked up the two males from Dandenong Railway Station – police are unaware of the offenders final destination.
Police have released images of the male offenders in the hope someone recognises them and contacts Crime Stoppers.
