Liberal spending with stolen card

WHILE a man was asleep at a factory premises in Hallam, his wallet was stolen and thousands of dollars spent in a couple of hours.
The burglary at Casey Auctions in Hallam on Sunday 5 June about 2.40am, was just the beginning in a spending spree, totalling more than $1600.
The offender jemmied open a front access door to the Casey Auctions warehouse before stealing a laptop and wallet.
The victim’s tap and go card was used five times after it declined.
Purchases were made by the offender at Coles and Bunnings in Narre Warren and Masters in Dandenong.
The victim’s bank contacted him on Sunday afternoon.
