Aggravated burglary in broad daylight

A WOMAN home alone in her Doveton home heard sounds outside before she heard footsteps in her kitchen.
The offender was found rummaging through items in the woman’s bedroom, before fleeing the home through the front door with a laptop and some electrical goods.
The aggravated burglary occurred on Tuesday 12 July around 4.30pm on Crimson Drive.
Police conducted a doorknock of the street, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
The woman was not injured in the break-in.
