Shot in face with speargun

A MAN has been charged after a woman was shot in the face with a speargun in Hallam on 16 July.
The 43-year-old victim was taken to hospital in a critical condition after emergency services were called to a house in Cornwall Street just after 11.30pm.
The 46-year-old Hallam man was charged with intentionally causing serious injury and appeared in an out-of-sessions court on 17 July.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 July.
