TENDERS are open for works to expand Berwick and Hallam railway station car parks.
The State Government will fund up to 110 more parking spaces at Berwick station and up to 50 extra spaces at Hallam, plus new lighting, CCTV and signage.
Works are expected to begin in early 2017 and to be completed by late next year.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Couacaud Graley said the project would ensure “local residents face less of a daily scramble to find a park and have more choices about how they get around”.
