Police have charged a man following an assault on an elderly man outside an Endeavour Hills home.
The 19-year-old from Reservoir has been charged with assault and recklessly causing injury over the incident in Dozey Place on Wednesday 17 August.
The 73-year-old victim opened the door to a salesman and suffered lacerations to the back of his head and his gums, and swelling to his eye.
The charged man was released on bail to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 29 September.
