Police probe Hallam shooting

A MAN was shot in the leg inside a Hallam home, and police are probing motives for the shooting.
The 21-year-old Hallam man who shot the victim using a shot gun was arrested at the scene, but not charged.
The shooting occurred on Wednesday 24 August around 10am at an Albert Road address.
The victim was taken to The Alfred hospital in a serious, but non-life threatening condition.
Police were called to the scene and cordoned off the house before locating the victim, the the shot gun and the man who pulled the trigger.
Investigations are ongoing, and police urge anyone with information on the shooting to call the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111.
