Maranatha Christian School has done it again.
Students from the Endeavour Hills school beat strong competition to win the Christian Schools Event Network (CSEN) Cultural Drama Events competition for the second year in a row.
With their thinking caps on, students had to devise a script and perform a play, almost on the spot.
Students were given a title of the play and they had full creative license from that point on.
Maranatha’s senior team won the competition by nine points.
School principal William Jackson said that the Cultural Drama Events competition is an “amazing opportunity” for students to increase their performance skills and work as a team.
“Maranatha’s students have been a part of the program for the past two years,” Mr Jackson said.
“It teaches them skills in acceptance, positivity towards members’ idea, facing their fears and storytelling.”
