Fake gun, real fear

TWO men have escaped being threatened while inside their own cars by a man with a pistol.
The black pistol ended up being an imitation but that didn’t comfort the two victims on Wednesday 31 August who escaped unharmed.
The aggravated attempted carjacking occurred at around 6.20am on Raymond McMahon Boulevard, Endeavour Hills.
The offender drew the fake pistol and pointed it at the victim.
This happened twice in the same vicinity and both victims drove away and called police.
Police attended the scene and arrested the offender, who was charged with assault and bailed to appear in the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.
