An unoccupied house was damaged by a suspicious fire in Muirkirk Close, Endeavour Hills, shortly after 1am on 15 December.
Fire crews from Hallam and Dandenong CFA stations were called to the blaze at the rear of the home about 1.15am. It took about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.
Twelve hours later, Victoria Police investigators were yet to announce the cause of the fire but were treating it as suspicious.
