Police move in on synthetic drugs

Police arrested a man over the sale of synthetic drugs in Hallam.
Greater Dandenong Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at a business on Melverton Drive, about 10.10am on Thursday 23 March.
Investigators seized a significant amount of allegedly synthetic cannabis as well as drug paraphernalia.
The 31-year-old Sunshine man is expected to be charged on summons with trafficking a commercial quantity of drugs.
Detective Acting Sergeant Matthew Davey said police would continue to target anyone selling illicit drugs.
“Any retailers found doing the wrong thing will be charged and presented before the court,” he said.
