Y-managed centre bags award

Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre took home a state award for excellence.
The YMCA-managed facility took home the inaugural Business Excellence Award from the annual Aquatic and Recreation Victoria (ARV) industry awards, held at The Peninsula in Docklands on Friday 16 June.
Centre manager Susie Nogic told the crowd it was “a victory for loyalty and the long and strong partnership between the Y and the City of Casey Council”.
“The Y has been in partnership with City of Casey for over 20 years and our collaboration has resulted in a happier, healthier and more active community,” she said.
“We have just had our management contract extended, and will be aiming even higher over the next 10 years.”
