Four arrests in Unforgiven raids

Police make an arrest.

 Police arrested four people and recovered allegedly stolen goods during raids in Narre Warren South and Doveton.

The Southern Metro Crime Team executed warrants at two homes in the early hours of Friday 1 June in an operation dubbed Unforgiven.

This followed an investigation into aggravated burglaries, thefts of and thefts from vehicles in Carrum Downs and the Casey and Cardinia municipalities over the past two months.

Police seized 80 items from the Narre Warren South address, including power tools, laptops and four motorcycles all alleged to be stolen.

They arrested a 42-year-old Narre Warren South man at the scene and he was assisting with their inquiries.

Investigators seized a car and motorbike alleged to be stolen along with several IDs from the Doveton address.

They arrested an 18-year-old Doveton man and 26-year-old woman of no fixed address at the scene and they were assisting with inquiries.

Police later arrested an 18-year-old Narre Warren South man at a Chadstone construction site.

He was also assisting with inquiries.
