Drug raid in Doveton

About $48,000 of cannabis plants have been seized during a police raid on a Doveton premises.

Officers from the SD3 Frontline Tactical Unit discovered 24 cannabis plants, a quantity of GHB and several prohibited weapons during the raid last week.

A 47-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both of Doveton, were charged with cultivating narcotic plants, possessing cannabis, possessing GHB and possessing prohibited weapons.

They were bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court in April.
